It is very conveniently located on the main road from Vashi Railway Station to Koperkhairane and just 200 meters before Shivaji statue. Parking is available on the main road on the left side as you come from the station side towards Shivaji Statue. The Sign board for the Clinic is visible form the main road. The Clinic is located at a walkable distance from Bus Stand also.

Counseling for disorders like antenatally diagnosed hydronephrosis, lower urinary symptoms, renal failure, bedwetting, daytime symptoms, maintenance of voiding diary, perineal exercises and Behavioural therapy are provided for both kids and adults.

Renal replacement therapy is provided for both kids and adults by our specialists. In young kids for acute renal failure peritoneal dialysis is done and for older kids and adults hemodialysis is done. These procedures require hospitalization. For kids with chronic renal failure we have expertise for CAPD- continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis. This can be carried out at home once caregivers have learnt the proper technique and precautions. CAPD catheter placement (TencKhoff’s catheter) can be placed laparoscopically for better longterm outcome.

Our consultants are well trained in AV (arteriovenous) fistula surgery which is the first step for long term hemodialysis in adults. Further, we also have the expertise for placement of double lumen hemodialysis catheter placement.

For many forms of chronic renal diseases like glomerulonephritis and nephritic syndromes, a piece of kidney tissue is taken with a special biopsy needle. This forms the first step in treating these difficult conditions. Our consultants provide expertise for kidney biopsies in both kids and adults.

ESWL or lithotripsy has revolutionized the health care for people having renal stones. Lithotripsy machine sends gentle focused shock waves which help in breaking the stones into small fragments. These fragments either come out via urine on their own or may require placement of a double J stent (DJ stent) for their smoother passage. We have facilities for ESWL for even kids as young as 5 years of age.

We have state of the art equipment and expertise for Endourological surgeries for adults and children. These include Cystoscopy, Urethroscopy, Ureteroscopy and Nephroscopy.

Laparoscopy and Retroperitoneoscopy are the newest weapons in the armamentarium of Pediatric and Adult urologists. More and more urological surgeries are done via these approaches now.
